Get Familiar With The Juvenile Crime Prevention Program Here In Lake Charles [PHOTO]

There has been a pretty heavy increase of crime in the Lake Charles area. Alot of this can be contributed to lack on activities for the youth to be apart of. With this being the case The City of Lake Charles is teaming up with the Lake Charles police department and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office to help work on a solution.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Kimberly Dellafosse who came through to my show to talk about the program and some of the steps that we as citizens can work together to curtail.

One of the big things that could help is mentoring the kids and hearing things that they want to be apart of and what you can do to get them some motivational activities and other things to occupy their minds and possibly keep them away from the negativity of the world.
