Hammond Flood Victim To Reporter: “I Left My Income Tax Check!” [VIDEO]

As floodwaters continue to displace people in parts of Louisiana, one Northshore man is going viral after he claims to have forgotten his tax refund in the flood.

A WDSU reporter was interviewing flood victims on the Northshore and as one woman was telling her story, a man standing nearby interrupted the interview and exclaimed,

I left my income tax check!

There is something about the way he said it—or maybe it was the reporter's reaction—that makes the video so funny. Hopefully, the people and their families can recover soon, and I hope that guy can get his tax refund.

Hopefully, he'll let them know to stop payment on that check in time!
