Summer '16 is almost upon us -- six days to be exact. Days are getting longer, school's out and summer Fridays are in full effect. But which rap star will provide the undisputed soundtrack to your summer? XXL asks you, the fans.

Drake is probably the strongest contender for winning the season. He's already got "Summer Sixteen" to prove it. Fresh off dropping the biggest album of his career thus far with Views, Drizzy has an arsenal of radio hits to choose from: "Controlla," "Still Here," "Pop Style" or the No. 1 single "One Dance," just to name a few. He's also got his fire collab with DJ Khaled, "For Free," off Khaled's upcoming album, Major Key, which is already the second highest charting record in the Miami maestro's career.

Travi$ Scott is somewhat of a sleeping giant right now, but proved he's ready to unleash a slew of music by dropping the new banger, "Pick Up the Phone" featuring Young Thug and Quavo. He also added the hook to the Cruel Winter anthem, "Champions" and is set to drop his sophomore album any day now.

With Chicago eating out of the palm of his hand, Chance The Rapper crafted a bunch of radio-ready singles off his highly anticipated third mixtape, Coloring Book. From slow cuts like "Juke Jam" and "Same Drugs" to turn up tracks like "Mixtape" and "All Night," Chatham's own is on his usual summer festival run getting crowds as riled up as ever with his new material.

Philly's rock-inspired rapper and 2016 XXL Freshman Lil Uzi Vert has had a strong run this year, dropping his latest mixtape, Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World, back in April. The tape's breakout single, "Money Longer," has steadily been building on SoundCloud and radio and the song is definitely a contender for summer banger.

With things just heating up, XXL asked the fans on Twitter who they think will have the summer on lock this year. Answers vary from rap's upper echelon like Kanye, Wiz and Drizzy to the eager upstarts like newly-minted XXL Freshmen Uzi, Lil Yachty and Desiigner. Here's what you guys plan to bump this summer as your hit the beaches, barbecues and block parties.
