Today in Tha Wire some unsuspecting celebs from film, music, TV and theater got a big surprise yesterday (Thursday June 22, 2017.)   ABC reports the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced their selections for the 2018 class for the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Among the recipients are raji P. Henson, Anthony Anderson, Ice T, Snoop Dogg, and Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray, just to name a few.

Based on some of the reactions, not everybody was aware they, were even up for the award.  The good news is, they can save the date now and have two years to clear their schedules for the induction.  Check out some of the reactions from celebs who were taken by surprise.

Below is a complete list of the stars being immortalized on the famous Walk of Fame, as part of the 2018 class:

Congrats to them all.  Wish the Mac Man was alive to enjoy the momentous occasion. While I'm at it, gotta shout-out rap legend Ice Cube too.  The iconic MC just got his Hollywood star last week on June 12.  John Singleton, Russell Simmons and all his boys from N.W.A. were on the seen for his big day.  Below is footage from the big event, which by the way took place days before his 48th birthday.

Damn sure deserved it too Cube.  Congrats to all of them.  That's a wrap on the scoop today.  Tune in every weekday and get goods in entertainment with Tha Wire, exclusively on The People's Station 107 Jamz.
