This Saturday, LSU fans will need to get up pretty early to be able to shake out the cobwebs and get ready for the game. The Tigers will travel to Missouri to face the Tigers in Columbia, Missouri at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field.

LSU lost a heartbreaker to Ole Miss last Saturday in a shootout. The Tigers lost 55-49 and fell to 3-2 on the season. They also fell to 2-1 in Southeastern Conference play. With the loss, LSU fell big in the two major polls.

The Tigers fell 10 spots in the AP poll from #13 and now sit at #23. They fell 11 spots in the coaches poll and now sit at #23 in that poll too.

The Missouri Tigers will enter this game sitting undefeated at 5-0 and ranked higher than LSU. The Missouri Tigers are ranked #21 in the AP Poll and # 22 in the coaches polls. Missouri is also 1-0 in Southeastern Conference play. Their only conference win so far this season came against Vanderbilt.

This game will be a battle of the East versus the West. LSU sits in the Western part of the SEC while Missouri sits in the Eastern part of the Southeastern Conference.

Now here's what LSU fans will not like. The LSU Tigers will take on the Missouri Tigers at the crack of dawn at 11:00 a.m. this Saturday, October 7th, 2023. The game will be aired live on ESPN.

So LSU fans, a cold front is coming through Louisiana this weekend so you better get up early to start your water for the gumbo or stew you going to make. I guarantee you will see nothing but gumbo pictures on social media this weekend because when the temperature drops there is nothing better than a gumbo and LSU football in Louisiana.
