Lake Charles Native Jen Kober Coming Back For Standup Special

Hometown gal and Lake Charles native Jen Kober is returning to the area for two big shows. What is unique about these two shows however is that Kober has announced that she will be shooting a standup special right here in Lake Charles.

Our good friend and Lake Charles native Jen Kober is coming back to town from Hollywood for two nights of hilarious comedy. Jen was born and raised in Lake Charles but has been living in Holywood, California, and has been performing comedy all over the country.

She has been in countless television shows and some movies as well. She has been on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, American Horror Story, The Purge, Hacks, and The Righteous Gemstones, and she has also been a part of the blockbuster movie Star Wars The Mandalorian.

Jen Kober posted the announcement that she was coming back to Lake Charles for the two shows and that she would be taping the special. She said in her post,

Tickets just dropped for my standup special taping happening in Lake Charles on Thanksgiving weekend. Make plans now to come laugh!

Jen Kober's two shows will take place on Friday, November 24th, and Saturday, November 25th, 2023 here in Lake Charles. Both shows will take place in the brand new state-of-the-art venue called Southlake Theater.

Southlake Theater is located at 4720 Nelson Road in Lake Charles. it is located in that huge shopping center where Skate City used to be. We have been in this theater and it is awesome!
