28th Annual Coushatta Powwow In Kinder, Louisiana Returns This June
(KHLA - Lake Charles, Louisiana) - The Coushatta Powwow is not only one of the biggest in Louisiana, but it's one of the largest powwows in America. Get ready to celebrate the Native American culture with your whole family, we have all the details.
There will be Native American craft and food booths, dance and drum competitions, and much more.
Be sure you make it for the Grand Entry, a rhythmic march that kicks off the competitions, when all of the dancers in full regalia claim the Dancing Ground to the accompaniment of tribal drums and singers.

The 28th Annual Coushatta Powwow begins Friday, June 13 at 5:00pm. The event will continue the following Saturday, June 14.
How do I get tickets for the Coushatta Powwow?
