Today in Tha Wire straight off the heels of dropping his 13th solo studio album,
Jay Z readies for a massive 31-date
4:44 Tour. Good news...there's 2 dates close to home! I'll get to that in a few. In the meantime, you may have noticed, Hov is getting
real personal with this album. For the first time in the history of his career, the rap legend is letting fans see his vulnerable side. Mr.
Shawn Carter is putting it all out there with confessions of infidelity, betrayal, the shame of dealing, to the demons he conquered to be where he is today. The
4:44 LP is basically a mini-documentary about his life's ups and downs. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we see a Jay Z docuseries, or movie in the near future. He's life and times is one hell of a story.

For now Jigga's getting some quality family time in with Bey and Blu, plus enjoying double daddy duty with his new twins. Hopefully he'll get some rest while he's at it. Come October, it's gonna be on and poppin'. Complex News

reports Jay will embark on a nationwide tour stopping off to 31 cities, from October 27 to December 21. Pre-sale tixs became available to TIDAL/Citi Card holders yesterday(July 10.) The general public can cop theirs, this Friday July 14 at 9CT/10a.m.ET through Live Nation. For VIP packages go to VIPNation.com.

Peep the tour schedule below:

There's no telling who'll join Hov on the stage for this one, so far there's been no mention of opening acts. This is Jay Z though, so I'm sure this tour is gonna be full of surprises. I'd put my money on Beyonce making an appearance or two as well. As far as stops close to home, The 4:44 Tour will take Houston's Toyota Center by storm on November 8. Then make a beyline down I-10 for a stop in the N.O., at the Smoothie King Center the following night (Friday November 9.) It's going down!
