Finally, I was leaving the gym yesterday, I checked my phone for missed calls and seen the shocking news that comedian/actor Robin Williams was found dead.   I immediately thought about how hilarious he was in Mrs. Doubtfire, how fly he was as the voice Lovelace and Ramón  the penguins in “Happy Feet franchise” and who can forget him in The Birdcage or Jumanji ?  He’s been in countless movies and I can’t think of one that wasn’t good.  It hurt to read of his death and even stranger to think someone so joyous and full of life was depressed.

CNN reports the 63 year old star died this morning (Aug. 11) and it is believed he committed suicide by way of asphyxiation Robin Williams was found unresponsive in his home in California apparently by his wife and an autopsy is being done today to confirm the cause of death.

His publicist released a statement and confirmed the sad news of the actor passing saying, “This is a tragic and sudden loss.  The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
