It's starting to get really serious, as only four contestants remain on American Idol.  Soon it will be three!  The exciting part about that is, the remaining Idols get to go home.  That means WHEN we get Joshua through to the next round, he'll be home this Saturday.

If all goes as planned, he'll stop here at 107 JAMZ studios for a 30 minute interview.  Then he'll head to his hometown of Westlake for a parade in his honor which will start at 2:30pm.  The parade route is as follows:   It starts on McKinley Street, down Sampson Street, to Garden drive and ends at the Westlake High School.

Last but not least, he'll perform a free concert at the Burton Coliseum from 6 p.m- 8 p.m.  The concert is free, however everyone who enters must have a ticket.  Details are still a little sketchy, but stayed tuned and I will keep you posted.  In the meantime, here are more details on tonight and the parade from my interview with Chris Wilrye today:

By the way, T-Shirts are being sold on Sampson Street across from the church for anyone who wants one.  For car flags and yard signs, e-mail cwilrye@yahoo.com.  Tonight's event begins at 5:30 p.m. with free hamburgers, chips and soft drinks.

On behalf of the Ledet family, they would like to thank everyone who's come out week after week in support of Joshua and would also like to send special thanks out to ALL of the sponsors for their donations, food and time.

GEAUX JOSHUA!

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
