Today in Tha Wire, it's being reported that a spokesperson for E! Online says they've stopped all filming on their hit show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Right about now, it appears they're more concerned about "Keeping The Kardashian Safe". In a surprising turn of events, the Kardashian family has decided to pull the plug on their show until further notice! It's rather shocking, because the family LOVES the cameras and exposing every aspect of their lives. However, they're saying Kim is so shook-up from the Paris robbery, the family and network decided to put the show on hold indefinitely.

An E! spokesperson released the following statement concerning the show:

“Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume.”

Sources close to the family told People that, ever since the robbery, Kim has been blaming herself for what happened, and may finally be realizing that constantly flaunting her lavish lifestyle and expensive jewelry all over social media might bad idea. By the way, Paris officials have a suspicious that the notorious Pink Panther Gang may be behind the Kardashian robbery. The international jewel thieves are about 200 members strong, comprised of men and women, mostly Serbs from Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia.

The Rolling Stone reports these are no ordinary crooks. Their marks are always glamorous targets in the swankiest cities in the world. Since the '90s, the gang has pulled off over 380 high profile heists in 35 countries, walking away with an estimated $372 million in stolen loot. Oh yeah, they make the crew of Ocean's 11 look like the Mickey Mouse Club. Famous for their smash and grab style, they scored the biggest jewel robbery in Japan's history when they jacked a 1,225 carat diamond necklace (Comtesse de Vendôme) worth $31 million from right under the nose of a Tokyo jeweler. The necklace was never recovered, and the robbery was done in 1 minute flat!

That wasn't even their biggest caper. The Pink Panther Gang made history again in 2013, robbing the same hotel where Alfred Hitchcock filmed To Catch a Thief in 1955: the Carlton International Hotel in Cannes. The crime ring made off with $136 million in gems and jewels, in what would be the largest jewelry heist ever in France. Get this, though. Not only did they set a record for the most expensive theft of all time, but they did it with a single gunman, in broad daylight! So if they robbed Kim Kardashian, that was a walk in the park.

Even though French and British officials suspect the Kardashian robbery has the hallmark of the famous jewel thieves all over it, they gotta catch somebody first. While the investigation continues, the ordeal has traumatized the reality star, causing her to reevaluate how safe she is.

A source told People, “This incident is making her question everything. How she dresses, what she does.” Another source told Us Weekly, “She has canceled everything for the next several weeks and will not be working. She feels safer in L.A. and wants to be home with her family.” As for Kanye, he postponed his tour and rescheduled a couple of shows. He's also taken extra measures in beefing up his family's security.

The French got their work cut out. As always, I'll keep you posted on any news. Stay in the know, and listen to Tha Wire every weekday at 12:50pm and 3:50pm on The People's Station 107 Jamz.
