Lake Charles' Girlie Girls Mentoring Program is proudly teaming up with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and Zeta Psi Omega Chapter to collect and distribute essential hygiene products for girls and women in the community.

This is an annual initiative by the young ladies of this local mentoring group. The goal is to ensure that girls and women in the community always have access to personal hygiene products when needed. These items are provided free of charge and without questions. Please join us:

More than 100 historically Black colleges and universities are designated by the U.S. Department of Education, meeting the definition of a school "established prior to 1964, whose principal mission was, and is, the education of black Americans."
