Wayne thinks people should embrace players for what they do, and that's entertain playing sports.

In regards to Cam Newton walking away from the news conference earlier than reporters anticipated after his Superbowl 50 loss to the Denver Bronco’s, Wayne felt Newton’s actions were “genuine,” and went on say more, “I believe once I saw that, if I was a player on his team… Or involved with his team in any kind of way, I love that dude," said Lil Wayne. "That’s the way he feel when we lose? He’s that upset when we. He’s that hurt, not upset. He’s that hurt when we lose? Oh my god I love him. I can’t wait to stand by… I’m playing for him, not with him, for him.”

Weezy also talks about how much he loves sports, balancing it with being in the studio, and who his best athlete friends are.
