We all miss Cash Money Records when it was backed by the sounds of super producer Mannie Fresh, but in a recent interview with MTV News, Lil Wayne said there will be a new "Big Tymer's" album coming soon, but with Drake.
Wayne has said that "Tha Carter V" will be his last album before he retires, but he never said it would be the next album. He has plans for other projects before he hang's up his 'Best Rapper Alive' title. The "Big Tymer's" project involving Drake is possibly next on the list, in which Wayne referenced Drake and the album by saying, "But that kid is so busy, it's all kind of possibilities."
So, does that mean we're getting a new Big Tymers group, and not the group that made us all love hit's like, "Still Fly, Get Ur Roll On, #1 Stunna, This Is How We Do, Big Ballin, and etc," which all included the incomparable and hilarious rhyme pattern's of Mannie Fresh, and the ever so flossy Birdman? Considering the seeming rift that has been present between Mannie and Cash Money Records for the past decade, that won't be happening.
In the meantime, reminisce with me and watch a few classic Big Tymer video's here!
