Louisiana Festivals & Events July 20 – August 3, 2024
With an ever-growing population in Louisiana, paramedics are critical and are often the initial protectors of public safety during emergencies. They have the training and expertise to handle the effects of disasters and crises, provide medical care, and often prevent further harm or death.
This is why Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) workers are always in high demand. Another reason is the need to replace these first responders quickly when they transfer to different occupations or retire. Paramedics are essential, and if you want to start a career as an EMT, register for fall training sessions today.
This 2-part training course, EMT I and EMT II, is offered by the National EMS Academy in conjunction with South Louisiana Community College. NEMSA/Acadian Ambulance will instruct this course at a nationally accredited EMS training facility authorized by the American Heart Association Training Center for CPR And ECC courses.
