Louisiana Tax-Free Weekend Just In Time For Back-To-School [VIDEO]

Back-To-School time is here and to make shopping for school supplies don't miss the Louisiana Tax-Free Weekend.  All the details are here.

Back-To-School shopping will be a little cheaper on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Save the date because that is the Louisiana Tax-Free Weekend.

FYI, the Prien Lake Mall will accept new and gently used school uniform pieces as well as school supplies.  Items may be dropped off in the center of the mall at the Say Cheese table, in front of Cinemark Theater.  The items will be distributed to deserving families on Aug. 10 at Iowa First Baptist Church.

If you would like to help, items being accepted for donation include:

Blue or khaki shorts or pants -- all sizes

Blue, white or green shirts – all sizes

School supplies, including Kleenex, loose leaf paper, pencils, glue, etc.
