When most people think of the circus a few things come to mind. The ringmaster, and  Big Top or red tent. The animals, clowns, acrobats, and the high-flying trapeze artist just to list a few. My personal favorites are the elephants, tigers, and cotton candy.

But what about a Water Circus? Have you ever been to one of those? If not, or even if you did, you can take in this amazing aquatic circus going on live in Lake Charles!

This week the circus is officially open to town to Southwest Lousiana residents. However, it's not exactly a conventional circus like the ones we're all used to seeing. There are clowns and high-flying acrobats, and they may even have cotton candy. What it won't have, is animals. This is a circus is centered solely around water! It's the Cirque Italia - Silver Unit

Cirque Italia presents “Aquatic Spectacular” Water Circus under the blue and white tent, with a custom-designed water stage that holds 35,000 gallons of water. The Cirque performers promise to dazzle and thrill the audience with every move.

See this amazing aquatic show live in Lake Charles from Thursday, September 19 through Sunday, September 22 at the Prien Lake Mall, just look for the big blue and white tent in the parking lot.
