This body camera video has been kept hidden for more than two years and investigators and members of the motorists family want to know why.

In the video obtained by the Associated Press, you can hear Aaron Larry Bowman shouting “I’m not resisting! I’m not resisting!” But the beating by the trooper continued.

Warning: This video is graphic.

This happened in May of 2019 in the Monroe area. Trooper Jacob Brown is now facing charges of aggravated battery and malfeasance in office. He was booked in Ouachita Parish. He allegedly failed to reported the alleged use of force to his supervisors.

This beating happened during a traffic stop. Bowman suffered a gash to his head which required staples, three broken ribs, a broken wrist and a broken jaw.

This incident happened just three weeks after troopers in the same region where Ronald Greene was brutally punched and stunned by troopers leaving him dead. The Greene case was also covered up.

Federal investigators are now looking into both cases and will focus on how high the cover-ups of these incidents goes.
