Meek Mill and The Game Hit the Studio After Ending Their Beef
Over the last year, The Game and Meek Mill ended their beef. Now, the two have consummated the ending of their feud by hitting up the studio.
According to a TMZ report published today (Jan. 23), The Game and the Philly MC were spotted working on new music in the studio. The recording session was reportedly for The Game's new album, and Meek apparently flew out to L.A. to link up with the Compton, Calif. spitta. Although the two have collaborated in the past, this will be the first time both rappers have hit the studio since ending their beef when Meek got out of prison last April.
For the unfamiliar, The Game and Meek Mill got into their two-year beef after the Compton native thought Meek had told LAPD that he was responsible for robbing $300,000 worth of jewelry from Sean Kingston in June 2016. Fast-forward to the day Meek's Championships album dropped, Meek hosted an #AskMeek Q&A session and responded to a fan's question who asked if he would collaborate with The Game again. His short and sweet reply confirmed that the beef was officially dead.
"Yeah why not!!!" Meek replied, signaling that their diss tracks are in the past. A few days later, The Game himself confirmed that Meek had ended their feud with a phone call he made to Game after he was released from prison in April 2018.
There's no word on when The Game's album will drop but according to TMZ, it's coming "in the near future."
