Megan Thee Stallion makes a donation the family of one of her dead fans will never forget.

On Monday morning (May 27), 26-year-old Cyril Briscoe was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Prince Georges County, Md, CBS' local Baltimore affiliate reported earlier today (May 28). One day after the shooting, someone connected started a GoFundMe account to help cover the funeral costs, and Megan, someone whom Briscoe posed in a picture with days prior, was one of the first to make a donation.

In one story for Briscoe's Instagram account, which has since been taken over by some of his family or friends, we can see the Houston rapper having a direct message conversation on Twitter. We don't see the beginning of the back-and-forth, but we do see Megan tell the person operating the account that she's made her donation.

"Sent 1200," wrote the Fever artist, signifying that she'd sent $1,200 to the newly created GoFundMe account. "Let me kno if y'all still need more if it don't make it high enough."

In the post, you can see Megan's government name listed to a donation of $1,200. Thus far, the GoFundMe has raised $4,985 of it's $15,000 goal.

Megan's donation came around the same time she reached out to send her condolences to a woman named Gina, who says she's Briscoe's cousin. "I am so sorry for your [loss.] His energy was amazing when we met," she wrote in response to a tweet from Gina, who posted a photo of Briscoe with Megan and Wale. She said Briscoe was "in love with" Megan and she hoped that she'd see her tweet with the image.

The description section of the GoFundMe acts as both a micro eulogy and a call to anyone willing to help pay for the funeral costs.

"Tragically our beloved Cyril (DatManRell) was taken from us on May 27th," reads the first part of the description. "As a family we are beyond devastated. Cyril was a talented treasure to everyone who knew him evidenced by the enormous outpouring of love from his community and beyond. Unfortunately, at this time the cost to bury him is too much to bear so we are asking for help. Anything you can give is more than appreciated and we thank you. Help us send Cyril home properly. Love to you all."

Police are still searching for suspects and possible motives for the shooting.
