In other news, it's bad news for Too Short.  As previously reported Too Short got himself arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation.  The Hip Hop icon found himself in a rather embarrassing situation after attempting to run and quickly being thrown to the ground and handcuffed.

Now comes word he's officially being charged for the incident and though he's not gonna get a federal drug charge, he's still may get some time if convicted on what he has been charged with.  All the details are below with Tha Wire.

Meanwhile, The Bronx will forever be known as the birth place Hip-Hop. Now 30+ years after the the culture was born, the city is finally getting it's official just do.  The Bronx’s role in originating Hip-Hop is headed to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

“Modern mixers and a lot of the speakers and sound systems came out of what (early DJs) created,” Laurel Fritzsch, curator of the Bronx section of  ”Place of Invention,” told the Daily News.  Soon people around the world will get a first hand look at how Bronx DJ's made history on the one's and two's.  Listen to further details about the exciting exhibit with Tha Wire now and for even further info visit www.invention.smithsonian.org.
