Keep your neighborhood crime-free, come to the Bellard Recreation Center (formally Hillcrest) today Feb. 10 at 5:30 p.m. for a city wide neighborhood watch meeting.

Every one wants a safe, crime-free neighborhood -- however, we have to work together to make that happen.  Come out to the the city-wide neighborhood watch meeting brought to you by the Oak Park Neighborhood Watch group.  The meeting will take place at the the Bellard Recreation Center (formally Hillcrest) located at 2808 Hillcrest Drive in Lake Charles, LA.

All of the neighborhood watch meetings are open to the entire Lake Charles community. Citizens from around the city are invited to come out and get acquainted with your neighbors, receive vital information on how to protect your homes and property, plus get answers to questions and concerns from local law enforcement and city officials.

Leading today's meeting will be Mac Golden (Oak Park Neighborhood Watch Team Leader), Lieutenant James Stewart with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs Dept. and Tony Guillory with the Lake Charles District 4 Police Jury.
