Parish Offices Will Close In Recognition Of Veterans Day

As we prepare for Veterans Day honoring those who have given their service to the military for our rights will have a day of celebration for them. As a matter of fact, if you have someone who has served in the military, make sure to acknowledge them on this day.

Locally many businesses and all of the Parish offices will be closed on November, 11 for Veterans Day. The offices will reopen on Friday, November 12. Keep in mind as well that Garbage and trash pickup will run as normally scheduled for Waste Management customers which is great news for all of us locally, especially after the big celebrations with food and fanfare for our Veterans.

Residential Solid Waste Convenience Centers in Lake Charles and Sulphur is going to be closed on Veterans Day and will resume business on Friday, November 12, and will resume business hours of 7 a.m.- 5 p.m..

The site locations are 2915 Post Oak Road in Sulphur and 5500 B Swift Plant Road in Lake Charles. They are open weekly Thursday- Monday and will be closed Tuesday- Wednesday.
