Playboi Carti fans have been clamoring for new music since he released his debut album Die Lit last May. It looks like the follow-up album Whole Lotta Red is on its way.

On Saturday night (July 27), Carti performed at The Eagle's Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wis. where he revealed the LP update to fans during a break in the action.

"I'm trying to drop that shit in the next 60 days," he said onstage. "I ain't gon' lie. It feel like we worked too hard for this moment. So, I'ma do this shit with no features."

This comes as welcome news to supporters of the "Magnolia" rapper. He released Die Lit on very short notice, which featured guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Pi'erre Bourne and more.

He reportedly also has another project baking. Earlier this month, Trippie Redd revealed he has a joint EP with Carti on deck, telling a fan on social media it would be coming, "Sooner than later."

Carti recently made a memorable guest spot on Tyler, The Creator's new Igor album via the song "Earfquake." After having arguably the song of the summer in 2017, followers of the former XXL Freshman are hoping he can return to form.
