Over the past few months, news of R. Kelly's alleged sex tapes with women who were purportedly underage at the time the videos were recorded have resurfaced in headlines everywhere. Now, at least one person is claiming there are more sex tapes in government custody.

According to a report TMZ published today (June 3), a former employee of the singer supposedly testified in front of a grand jury last week hat Kelly allegedly recorded his alleged sexual activities with underage girls and kept them as trophies. The unnamed ex-employee also claimed that he or she had possession of one of the tapes. However, the singer reportedly paid a large sum of money to get the tape back. Speaking with TMZ, R. Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Goldberg, claimed that the allegations weren’t new.

"This seems to be the same claims that were made in the state case. We will address them in court," Kelly's lawyer Steve Greenberg said.

In addition, the ex-employee testified that a video of Kelly allegedly having sex with an underaged girl is currently in the hands of Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx. The former worker also claims that the Feds have other videos of Kelly in their possession. This employee also claimed that Kelly's entire camp allegedly knew about his obsession with underage girls. Instead of turning him in, Kelly's team reportedly assisted the singer in his efforts, including allegedly transporting underage victims across state lines for sex.

In the aftermath of Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly docuseries, the veteran R&B singer has been engulfed in a slew of fresh sex abuse charges. Among the 11 new charges, Kelly now faces multiple counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

This comes four months after Kelly was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The newly issued aggravated criminal sexual assault charges the singer faces are all labeled as Class X felonies in Illinois. That means Kelly could face a maximum of 30 years for each count.

Kelly still denies he committed any crimes.
