In honor of Black History Month, the City of Lake Charles' Leadership Team for Community Diversity and Inclusion will host a Brown Bag Lecture at Carnegie Memorial Library on Wednesday, February 21, at 11:30 a.m. as a part of its ongoing lecture series.

Beginning at noon, Dr. Michael T. Snowden, Chief Diversity Officer at McNeese State University, will be the guest speaker. The title of Dr. Snowden’s presentation will be “Black History: Celebrating the Pride, Pageantry, and Perseverance.”

The free lecture will take place at Carnegie Memorial Library, located at 411 Pujo Street in downtown Lake Charles. All prospective participants are asked to register by contacting Dena Jourdan at dena.jourdan@cityoflc.us or 491.1465.
