Sheriff’s Office Looking for Armed Robbery Suspects who Robbed Local Casino
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Friday morning at 2:00am, at a casino on Highway 397 in Lake Charles.
According to a media release from Kim Myers, investigators learned three suspects entered the casino, one armed with a handgun. Two of the suspects assaulted the security guard and disarmed him and continued to assault him while the third suspect robbed the cashier at gun point. The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and the security guard's gun.
The suspect armed with the gun is described as approximately 6’3” in height wearing a gray hooded jacket with a pocket on the top left side with a black zipper, jeans, and light colored shoes. The second suspect is described as approximately 6’3” in height with a stocky build wearing all black clothing and a black mask. The third suspect is described as shorter in stature with all black clothing and a dark colored backpack. He is also described as having patchy facial hair and a short hairstyle.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to contact CPSO at 491.3605 or Crime Stoppers at 439.2222.
