Jamal "Shyne" Barrow was on his way to the top of the food chain in the late 90's.  Unfortunately, one night at Club New York, brought all his hopes and dreams to a screeching halt.

Shyne went to prison for his role in the Club New York shootings on December 27, 1999.  The night was going good as Shyne kicked it with Diddy and his then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.  Then the shooting popped off after Diddy got into an argument with a man who elbowed him after the rapper knocked over the man's drink while leaving the club.  Then someone threw a stack of money in Diddy's face and when they did, Shyne opened fire and wounded three innocent bystanders.

Shyne went on trial for attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment and weapons possession and though he ended up being convicted, Diddy was acquitted.  Shyne ended up serving eight years of a 10 year  prison sentence.  Shortly there after, a viscous beef developed between the two.  Here him explain why he is upset with Diddy.

Once Shyne was released he and Diddy publicly announced that they squashed their differences and Diddy even apologized for his shady behavior.  However, that didn't help Shyne much because he was immediately deported back to his native Belize.  Ever since then, he's been trying to come back to the states and apparently was under the impression that Diddy was going to help him.

Diddy offered to give him money, but he declined and asked him to lobby on his behalf to get a U.S. visa instead.  Shyne says Diddy failed to make good on his promises including getting a petition signed for him to be allowed back into the country sent to the White House.

So, the beef is back on.  Speaking of which, Shyne decided to release a diss track he recorded about Diddy a few years ago called "You're Welcome".  Here it is....what cha think?
