Today in Tha Wire while thousands upon thousands take to the streets in protest of Donald Trump being named the 45th President of the United States, some Americans wont reality have to deal with the buffoonery of his forthcoming 4-year term....cause they'll be high.   That's right!  Leading the celebration to "light-up" is none other than rap icon/actor, Snoop Dogg. Not that he wasn't smoking every minute of the day beforehand.

We all know Snoop has been a life-long stoner, the 45-year-old super star has also made his habit of choice a business.  He's got a distribution website,
MerryJane.com, he own week line,
Leefs by Snoop, and even gearing up to executive produce a new sitcom about weed on MTV called, Mary + Jane. Peep some video of the show below.

Snoop explained in recent interview with Esquire, the show will be centered around two young women who run a weed delivery service.  He said of the show, “With the world going crazy for marijuana and it’s America’s topic of conversation right now, as far as the legalization of it all. The health issues and higher health insurance and the money – it’s making and Denver, Colorado and other parts of the world where it’s becoming legalized. It’s becoming a big business now. It’s good to show the intricacies of some dealers – female dealers – and giving the insight of the underworld before it becomes the over world.”   News reports state Cali's decision to pass the Adult Use of Marijuana Act, also known as Prop 64, has paved the way for the U.S. state to become one of the leading marijuana markets in the world.  The West Coast has several states around the nation following it's lead to approve the act, including Massachusetts, Nevada, North Dakota and Arkansas. Recreational marijuana was also approved in the sunshine state of Florida! Snoop isn't the only celeb happy about the new law.  Cheech & Chong acting vet, Tommy Chong took tweeted:

So while most of us try and wrap our heads around what has turned out to be one of the most bizarre presidential races in history, the good news is you can always take a road trip if you live in a state that hasn't legalized Merry Jane yet.....
