Suspect Named In Lil Wayne Tour Bus Shooting – Tha Wire [VIDEO]
AllHipHop reports the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office have named a suspect and put out a warrant his arrest in connection with Lil Waynes tour buses being shot-up last month. According to reports, 25-year Jimmy Carlton Winfrey is a wanted man.
Winfrey is believed to be the alleged trigger man behind the shooting that left Weezy’s tour buses riddled with bullets, after the rapper performed at Atlanta’s Compound Nightclub April 26. The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office has a warrant out for his arrest and say he's a gang member of the Bloods.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Winfrey shot-up Lil Wayne's buses trying to get himself some “street cred.” Authorities say Winfrey was driving at the time of the incident himself and caused well over $20,000 worth of damage to the buses.
Once in custody, police will reportedly charge him with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage, possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, reckless conduct and discharging a weapon near the street.

In other news, the New York Daily News reports the doctor who was blamed for death of Dr. Donna West, Kanye West's mother, is trying to clear his name. Dr. Jan Adams says Kanye's cousin, Stephan Scoggins, is the one responsible for Dr. West's death,
Adams told the News, “Most people that I run into think she died on the table, they don’t even know this lady was home for a day." He added. "The truth hasn’t been revealed.”
As previously reported, Dr. Donna West died after having liposuction, a breast reduction, and tummy tuck. Dr. Adams claims Stephan Scoggins, a registered nurse with a Ph.D in public health, is the one who cared for Kanye's mother at a private recovery center after she left the hospital.
He further claims Scoggins left Dr. West with friends, who were not qualified to take care of her. In addition he charges there were no patient monitors in her bedroom, and Scoggins didn't answer his phone when Dr. West needed to be tended to.
According to Adams on Nov. 10th, 2007, Kanye's mother was given 20 Vicodin's for pain, and choked on her own vomit. Ironically the coroner's report backs-up his claim, stating that medication used for pain and vomit were contributing factors to her death.
So far, Scoggins is denying those clams and told the Daily News that “it is absolutely not the case." Meanwhile, Kanye hasn't commented at all.
In other Kanye West news, on a much brighter note he and his wife Kim are expecting baby number two. Kim revealed the news on the season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians saying, ”I just got the blood test back and I am pregnant!”
Congrats to the West family!
