According to Billboard, rapper Too Short was cited on Thursday (Oct. 2nd) for packing a loaded handgun in his carry-on bag into an airport in Southern California.

When the west coast rapper, born Todd Anthony Shaw, passed through a TSA checkpoint, an agent noticed the handgun as the bag went through the scanner.

Short reportedly fled the building, but later returned to the airport with his attorney. The Bay Area rapper has been cited on misdemeanor possession of a loaded handgun in a public place.

The rapper was released, but is due back in court on November 3rd.
