Travis Scott Lets Fans Ride Onstage Ferris Wheel During First Astroworld Tour Stop
Travis Scott's Astroworld album is named after a theme park, so it's only right he turns his tour into one. Last night (Nov. 9), the Houston rapper went into full "Sicko Mode" when he kicked off his long-awaited Astroworld tour at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. For the show, he brought a ferris wheel onstage.
Video from the concert shows Scott sitting atop to a ferris wheel as he addresses the crowd. In other videos from the show, we can even see fans riding the ride. It looks like it was a good time.
Before Travis Scott had the entire arena trying hop onto the onstage ferris wheel, openers like Trippie Redd, Gunna and Sheck Wes warmed up the arena with their array of anthems. Of course, Wes had to perform his Billboard charting single "Mo Bamba," and proved the Mudboy banger goes hard even in an arena.
The Atsroworld's opening night also gives us a taste of what to expect at Travis Scott's upcoming Astroworld Music Festival. On Election Day, Travis Scott said that he would be revealing the lineup for the festival soon.
