The murder trial of Chinx, which charges two male suspects with his death, is now underway. The two men, Quincy Homere and Jamar Hill, appeared for their first court date this week (Jan. 16), coming face-to-face with the late rapper's widow.

According to Fox 5, Homere and Hill have been charged with second-degree murder for the killing of Chinx in May 2015. Both have pled not guilty to the charges but are currently behind bars. Homere is in federal custody on an unrelated charge, while Hill is reportedly doing state time.

Chinx's widowJanelli Caceres-Pickens, kepts her composure during the court appearance, despite being in front of two of the men who are being accused of killing her late husband.

"It gets harder and harder every time just to literally stare someone in the eyes and not be able to say anything," Caceres-Pickens tells Fox 5. "It's hard, it's hard. A lot of emotions run through you."

Lisa Evers of Fox 5 also captures and posts footage of Caceres-Pickens staring down one of the men. Caceres-Pickers appears visibly uncomfortable but remains quiet and composed.

"It's just a waiting process. It's an emotional roller coaster—you come in, you have to see them, you have to face them," Caceres-Pickens also tells the news outlet. "The feelings just run through you all over again."

Both Homere and Hill are due back in court in February, but there's no word yet on whether they will be offered a plea deal in the case.

The two men were arrested back in December 2017 for their alleged connection in the murder of Chinx. Reports say that the men followed the late Coke Boys member after his performance at the now-defunct Red Wolf Lounge in Brooklyn, N.Y. before they allegedly shot and killed him. Chinx was found dead while sitting in his car in Queens, N.Y. on May 17, 2015.

During the time of their arrest last month, both suspects were already locked up for unrelated charges. They were charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
