More than a year removed from his arrest for gun and drug charges back in September 2017, Young Thug is trying his best to have his charges thrown out the window. According to a report The Blast published yesterday (Dec. 17), the 27-year-old filed court documents demanding that his case gets dismissed due to improper treatment by cops during his arrest in Brookhaven, Ga.

Thug filed documents claiming that he was never read his Miranda Rights by police during his arrest. As a result, he wants all his statements removed from the record. He also states that it was unlawful for cops to stop his car and did not have enough reason to search his vehicle.

As was previously reported, cops found methamphetamine, marijuana, hydrocodone, guns, and almost $50,000 in cash inside of Thug's car at the time of his arrest. A grand jury indicted the rapper for drug possession and intent to sell. Last month, the Slime Language rapper was re-arrested for failing to pass a court-ordered drug test. He has been ordered to take weekly drug tests and attend an outpatient drug treatment program.

Young Thug is currently facing up to three years in jail for charges related to his September 2017 arrest.
