Update (May 24, 1:14 p.m. EST):

The vlog has been removed from YouTube for the time being.

Original Story:

Roughly one day after being released from East Baton Rouge jail, YoungBoy Never Broke Again's popped-up with a brand new VLog documenting his first day out, and it's a pretty intimate homecoming.

The the vid, we see NBA YoungBoy link up with his friends and family in Baton Rouge, La. as he enjoys finally being out from behind bars. He'd been inside the slammer since this past December after being hit with two charges of attempted first degree murder and being allegedly being involved with what police called a drive by shooting.

In the video, NBA YoungBoy looks really happy to be out, and he should be. Interestingly enough, his fellow Baton Rouge rapper Boosie BadAzz uploaded an Instagram post leaving the 17-year-old rapper with some advice about how to deal with his hometown: don't.

In a post including an image of NBA YoungBoy, Boosie wrote, "“Welcome home @nba_youngboy 💯💯💯💯💯leave Br asap 👌." Now, the question is, of course, why would Boosie tell the teen to leave his hometown. He might have served up an answer in an interview he gave about his own reasons for leaving Louisiana last year.

“Well like, my past is too strong out there. You gotta understand that I had a big problem with the court system—district attorneys, prosecutors,” Boosie explained in an interview with DJ Vlad.

He continued, “A lot of people were trying to take my life as far as, you know, in the court system. And I was childish, man. I made songs about public officials and things like that. Those people don’t forget that and I don’t trust people like that. It’s nothing for me to just be riding down the street and they just stop and throw a gun in my car.”

For his part, YoungBoy told us he didn't believe police were unjustly targeting people, just those who'd earned a negative reputation in the area.

In any case, you can peep YoungBoy's VLog below.
