Everyday our brave men and woman of the armed forces put their lives on the line in the name of freedom.  Unfortunately, two soldiers close to home lost their lives in the line of duty last month.   Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family an friends of our fallen soldiers, 20-year-old Airman First Class Joel Michael Barrow died Tuesday, March 27th in Adana, Turkey and 37-year old Captain Aaron Dale Istre of the United States Army who died while courageously serving our country in Kabul, Afghanistan on March 24,  in support of Operation Enduring Freedom .

We thank them for their service and offer our prayers to their family and friends.

Visitation for A1C Barrow is Thursday from 2pm until 9pm at Johnson Funeral Home. And again from 1-2:30pm Friday at the Livingway Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles.  The funeral will follow at 2:30pm at the church.

Visitation for Captain Aaron Dale Istre  will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA beginning today from 2-9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, April 5 at 8 a.m. until the funeral service at           2 p.m.
