Funeral Services For Lake Charles City Councilwoman Mary Morris

The family of the late Mary Morris has released details for the public memorial and homegoing for the beloved City Councilwoman. According the Morris family Councilwoman Morris passed due to complications from COVID-19, Sunday August 8. She was champion for the City of Lake Charles and worked hard for the citizens she served. Mrs. Morris will be sorely missed by SWLA. The public is invited to attend and pay tribute at her “Celebration of Life” service Friday, Aug. 20, beginning with a silent reflection from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall of the Lake Charles Civic Center.

A Silent reflection will also be held outdoors at the amphitheater for residents and friends to say their farewells, while safely social distancing. See the below flyer for more details.
