10 months after being busted with sizzurp at LAX, TMZ reports 36-year old Tauheed Epps, better known as 2 Chainz was officially charged with felony drug possession.  The rapper was arrested last summer in June at LAX.  While going through the airports security checkpoint, TSA officials discovered less than an ounce of marijuana and promethazine in his checked luggage. In addition, Chainz was charged with one count of codeine possession, of course the main ingredient in "sizzurp".

This is definitely not a good look for 2 Chainz, because he's got a history of being on the wrong side of the law, on more than one occasion.   Though this isn't his first time he's been caught with drugs, it is his second drug charge.  When he was 15, Chainz was convicted of felony cocaine possession and just last year the rapper was arrested for marijuana possession.  Then in August 2013, after police searched his tour bus in Oklahoma City, the found two semi-automatic pistols and a 12-gauge pump shotgun, plus prescription painkillers and marijuana residue.  He was later charged with a misdemeanor obstruction of justice.

Now the rapper is looking at doing three years if convicted.  2 Chainz will no soon enough if he's going to get any time, as his arraignment will take place next week in L.A.
