The 31st Washington-Marion High School Homecoming Parade will go down October 8! The parade will get underway beginning at 3:00 p.m. and this years Grand Marshall will be the Honorable Judge Sharon Wilson.  Wilson, is Lake Charles’s first African-American female judge and has been a key figure in supporting and encouraging Washington-Marion High School scholars.  This is going to be an exciting year!

Also please note the parade route has changed.  The 31st Washington-Marion High School Homecoming Parade is as follows:

Beginning at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church go west on Opelousas St., turn right onto Goos Blvd., go north to Moeling St., turn right onto Moeling St., go east to N. Simmons St., turn left onto N. Simmons St. to Ray D. Molo Middle School.

Immediately following the parade show your Indian Pride.  Stick around for the festivities as all currant, former and soon-to-be Charging Indians are invited to the Community Pep Rally!  The official Pow-Wow is sure to get everyone fired-up for the Washington-Marion Homecoming Game, were the the Charging Indians will take-on Leesville.
