4-Year-Old Hands Out Packets of Heroin at Day Care, Thought It Was Candy

According to various reports, a 4-year-old girl in Delaware gave out packets of heroin at her day care, thinking they were filled with candy.

Delaware State Police said the girl found 249 bags of heroin weighing approximately 3.7 grams, in a backpack given to her by her mom, 30-year-old Ashley Tull, because her previous backpack was damaged by a family pet.

The child’s mother faces charges of maintaining a drug property and endangering the welfare of a child.
