It's been seven years since Akon has been on the music scene, but I'm happy to say that's about to change.  AllHipHop.com reports the singer/songwriter is gonna drop a five-disc album, entitled Stadium.  Now that's what I call a comeback!  An get this, all five albums will be comprised of music from five different genres: urban, world, pop, euro, and island.

Fans can get a preview of one track from each disc on Akon's official website.  The 41-year old superstar took to his Twitter page to give fans a heads-up on the project.  Below is what he tweeted;

“Thru out this long wait, there has been fans who stuck with me,” he posted. “This Album is for you! 5 Albums 5 genres equaling STADIUM.”

Finally, since I'm talking new music TheBoomBox reports R&B powerhouse Jazmine Sullivan is gearing up to drop her third studio album, 'Reality Show.'

Of course the LP features the hit tracks "Dumb" featuring Meek Mill and her sultry ballad "Forever Don't Last."  However, the Philly songtress flexes her talent with her rendition of Whitney Houston's classic ‘I Have Nothing.’  We all know very few people can do Whitney, but Jazmine is one of them.  Below she performs the track live on the Vibe V Sessions stage.

What cha think?  I think you did a fabulous job.  She stayed true to the song, but still made it her own.  Anyway let us know what you thought, and listen to Tha Wire below for a release date for Jazmine's new album as well.  Plus, find out what celebs are celebrating birthdays today!
