Friday Judge Debra Nelson, read 27 pages of instructions to the jury, giving them three options: convict Zimmerman of second-degree murder, manslaughter, or find him not guilty.  After two weeks of testimony and dramatic closing arguments, it took the six member, all-female jury two days to come to a verdict of guilty.  George Zimmerman has not been charged with the murder of unarmed 17-year old Trayvon Martin.

Prior to the verdict.  The jury asked lawyers from both sides to clarify the "Manslaughter" charge.  At which time judge Nelson said court was taking a 30 minute recess.  That recess adjourned and lawyers from both sides wrote a hand written explanation of the charge.

The judge then notified the court that she was going to give the jury the information and said she would return in 15 minutes.  However, it was more like two hours before she re-appeared back in the courtroom.  At this point the jury has been deliberating for 16+ hours.

Though some will argue or even deny it, from the very beginning this case has been about race, racial profiling, gun violence and laws in this country.  Did the jurors get the verdict right?  Give us your thoughts.
