This isn't turning out to be a good year for rapper/actor Busta Rhymes.  TMZ reports Busta is now under a criminal investigation after an incident that place at this years BET Awards.

A fan named Kim Simpson was attending the June show with a friend and claims they were having a good time, until her friend accidentally bumped into the rapper while dancing.  Simpson alleges they apologized, but Busta wasn't trying to hear it and warned    “I’ll bite you and not that kinda bite” if it happened again.

Their little meet & greet with the rapper didn't end there, it actually got worse.  Simpson claims later in the evening she and her friend started taking pics of various celebs.  When they spotted former Flavor of Love contestant Deelishis, they snapped a pic of her as well. The problem was, in at least one of the photos the reality star was talking to Busta and he wasn't happy about getting caught in the camera flash crossfire.

Things got ugly and according the Simpson he allegedly snapped and said, “Don’t make me slap you” and supposedly charged them, but security held him back.  Long story short Kim Simpson filed a police report, the incident is under criminal investigation and authorities trying to catch-up to Busta to get a statement from him.  So far, the rapper has issued no comment on the matter.

AllHipHop reports the 43-year old rapper has a short fuse and has had more than one run-in with fans over the years.  In 2007, the Busta Rhymes was charged with third-degree assault for jumping on a man that spat on his car.  Then in 2009, he was ordered to pay $75,000 for allegedly throwing water bottles at a fan.  More recently, earlier this month Bussa Buss was arrested for an assault that took place at the Steel Gym in a Manhattan. Were he got into an altercation and allegedly threw a protein drink at an employee.

It's still unclear what the dispute was about, but the rappers being accused of throwing a 17-oz drink at the guy and hit him in the back of his head.  Police were called to the scene and the rapper was arrested.  The alleged victim reportedly refused to press charges.

This isn't a good look for Bussa Buss, hopefully this can get cleared up.  In the meantime, LISTEN LIVE to Tha Wire on The Peoples Station 107 Jamz.  It airs twice a day, every weekday at 12:50 and 3:35 p.m.CT.  Plus, find out what celebs are celebrating birthdays daily!
