Last night (Sunday June 28) the 2015 BET Awards aired.  As always, there's a lot to talk about from the fashion do's and don'ts, the drama, shocking and uncalled for moments etc.  Hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, the show was quite entertaining.

Let's just start with my one of my FAVORITE artists of all time.  Janet Jackson.  Ciara, Jason Derulo and Tinashe performed a entertaining Janet Jackson tribute below is a look at how it all went down.

They killed it!  Mrs. Jackson, just gets better with time.  She won last nights Ultimate ICON Award, because she's just that.  It couldn't have come at better time, beings that Mrs. Damita Jo is heading out on her 'Unbreakable World Tour' August 31.

Can't wait to see the tour!  Welcome back J.J.  Onward with the show, the Bad Boy Reunion tribute was also fire.  But, it kinda was tainted when Diddy fell through the stage! Don't know how nobody else fell though!  I'm not sure how it happened, but somebody's gonna pay.  It was still hot though and it was nice to see and hear everybody like 112, Mase, French Montona, The Lox, Lil Kim, Faith Evans and Pharrell do their thing!

Other hot performances of the night included Chris Brown, Tyga and Omarion doing everything from Breezy's new joint "Liquor", to "Ayo" and "Pose To Be".  Plus Kendrick Lamar shut it down with "Alright."

Terrence Howard won Best Actor for Empire and rightfully so.  Nicki scored the Best Female Hip Hop Artist and fashion was king and queen of the night.  As a matter of fact, below is a look at some of the Red Carpet fashion of the night.

Who can forget the emotional speech Usher gave after being honored with the BET Musical Arts Award. He deserved it.  Usher has been in the game for a longtime and managed to stay centered and a phenomenal singer/dancer/actor.  Here's a look at what he said after receiving his award from Bobby Brown and the legendary Ben Vereen.  Gotta give it up to Kanye West as well.  Yeezy scored the Visionary Award and fittingly so.

All in all, the 2015 BET Awards was pretty good.  Closing out this years show, was new comer Fetty Way and of course he put it down with his smash hit, "Trap Queen."  Peep his performance below, maybe next year he'll be among the winners.
