Capital One Tower: Gone In 60 Seconds

Well, she's gone SWLA. At 8 am on the dot, the demo crew sounded an alarm, and in mere seconds the Capital One Tower, left destroyed by Hurricane Laura in 2020 collapsed. Some people cheered as it crashed to the ground, while others stood silent as the Lake Charles, LA landmark disappeared from the skyline. What's next residents wonder? Will the city build another tower or leave the space an open field?
