It's that time for the Black Business Honors. This is a great event where Black Businesses, Entrepreneurs and employees get the chance to be awarded for contributions to their communities. It's a great way for them to see recognition and acknowledgement for what they do.

I am honored to say that I was the recipient last year for DJ/Media personality of the year and it was a humbling experience. I have always loved radio and being a beacon for those in the community who don't have a voice but need to be heard.

This year while I am nominated again. I would like for the love to be shown to some of my peers in the game. We have three personalities from 107 Jamz nominated this year along with plenty of other great talented individuals from the area from clubs, to radio to television. Of course I have to show major love to my team Gina Cook and Big Boy Chill who bring their A game everyday and I am happy to see them finally being recognized.
