Saturday, while on the road with New Edition, Bobby Brown shocked fans when he announced Bobby Kristina was awake and watching him perform.

The stunned Dallas audience screamed and clapped with joy, when they heard the news, but unfortunately not a lot has changed with Bobbi Kristina's condition.  Her grandmother set the record straight recently and said though she is awake, she is still unresponsive.

CNN reports Cissy Houston, has released a statement that sheds a little bit more light on what Bobby Brown meant.

“While she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive. Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me. We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time.”

We of course will join them in prayer, in hopes that she will make a full recovery.

In other news, Kelly Rowland and Brandy are headed to BET.  AllHipHop reports Brandy landed a role on an upcoming sitcom and Kelly will be on the hunt for the next big star. This is gonna be a busy year for both of the R&B divas, as Brandy will soon be on Broadway starring in Chicago and Kelly is a new wife and mom.

In another week or so Brandy will take the to Broadway stage and perform as Roxie Hart in the hit musical Chicago.  Then, coming to BET in the near future, the Grammy award winning songstress will star as a single divorced mother in a new sitcom.  The new show is dubbed, Zoe Moon and Brandy's character is trying manage the ups and downs of relationships, life and make a name for herself as the CEO of a cosmetics company.

Kelly Rowland's also doing some major multi-tasking and going from being judge on a talent search show, to running the whole show. Girlfriend will star in BET's, Chasing Destiny.  AllHipHop reports the show is a “multiplatform search” where contestants will compete for their hand at stardom.  But first, they have to meet “Kelly Rowland’s standards of excellence.”
