Congratulations To My Friends Nora Popillion And Matt Young

I have been in Lake Charles and the minute I think I know everything there is to know about the city. I am amazed at how much the city truly has to offer. Last week I was invited by my friend Nora Popillion as he was being honored with the Humanitarian Award from Family and Youth.

Of course I said yes but I had not been familiar with the organization Family and Youth. Well today I was enlightened on how much this organization does for the city of Lake Charles and abroad. They have assisted with the protection of kids who have dealt with abuse whether it was physically or sexual.

I was informed on how they are growing and how the city can contribute to the growth as well. Whether you have kids or not. There is no doubt that we as adults should hate to see kids abused in any shape or form and knowing that we have an organization who believes in the purity or our kids is a great feeling.

I was also happy to be present to my friends who have done so much in the city and contribute so much of their time. Congratulations are in order for Nora Popillion and Matt Young. While both of these gentlemen have a full time job, they are also giving of their time in the community whether hosting events or serving food. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Due to the invite from Nora, I was also informed on a non profit organization who can use our help and I am going to do all I can to assist and I ask that you contribute as well to Family and Youth.
