CPSB Job Fair Coming Soon

According to a study conducted in 2012, by economists Raj Chetty and John N. Friedman of Harvard and Jonah E. Rockoff of Columbia, good teachers have a lasting impact on their students.  The study was done on more than 2.5 million students, over a span of 20 years, and the findings were amazing.  A good teacher has a massive impact in a child's life. Kids are happy and enjoy learning.  As a result they have great test scores, and in almost every case attend college.  A child with the benefit of good teachers, goes on to become a successful adult.  So having good teachers is a huge deal.

Kids here in SWLA need more good teachers, as our community continues to grow.  If you're looking to make a difference in a child's life, and searching for a rewarding career...you're in luck.  The Calcasieu Parish School Board is going to have a Job Fair on May 31, 2017, from 9 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. at the Lake Charles Civic Center.  No registration is required, just good teachers.  All positions are available.  So if you love kids and teaching isn't exactly your thing, there is a place for you.
