There's some sad news coming out of the hip-hop community in Dallas, Texas. Rapper C Struggs has died at the age of 32, following a battle with cancer.

The Texas MC was reportedly diagnosed with metastatic cancer, and was recently given about eight weeks to live, reports the Mirror. He sadly succumbed to the disease on Friday afternoon (Aug. 3).

Sources close to the rapper tell UrbanIslandz Struggs was in good spirits and still putting in work in the time leading up to his passing. "He was putting up a good fight because he was recording music and even doing videos and all that shit, but his health got really bad over the last couple of days,” the source said. “His death is a big blow to the community because he was someone who was loved by everyone he ain’t got no beef, everyone love Struggs.”

Struggs had been making a name for himself in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He made noise with standout tracks like "Give 2 Fuccs" and "Same Nigga" featuring Skrilla. In 2016, he linked up with Rick Ross for the track, "Do It," which is possibly his most notable cut to date. Upon hearing the news, The Bawse hopped on Instagram to share his condolences.

"I just got news that we lost a good nigga, man. Good nigga. Dallas nigga. My homie, C Struggs," Ross reported. "Shout out to everyone that's repping C Struggs, his little ones. Homie was a good dude. We remember you homie and we always gon' remember you, homie. Bless up."
